St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 2099 North Hacker Road, Howell, MI 48855 US - General Information

General Information


Baptism: Baptisms are celebrated on the 2nd Sunday of the month at the 11:30 Mass and on the 4th Sunday of the month at the 5:00 p.m. Mass.  You must be a registered active member for at least three months.  Parents (and sponsors if possible) are expected to attend a baptism formation class prior to the baptism. Arrangements can be made by contacting the parish office.

Confirmation: Call our parish office for details as to preparation requirements and parish policies with respect to the celebration of this sacrament.

First Communion: Call our parish office for details as to preparation requirements and parish policies with respect to the celebration of this sacrament.

Matrimony: Generally there is a period of nine months during which couples prepare themselves to receive this sacrament. Call our parish office for details and to schedule your wedding date. If either party has been previously married there is a required procedure that must be followed to obtain a "Declaration of Freedom" to marry again in the Catholic Church. Registeration: We welcome new parishinoers.  Contact the office to register in person.
