Youth Groups

High School Youth Group


Lighthouse Crew

The High School Youth Group at St. JohnChurch is made up of High School youth from Hartland, Howell, Milford, Brighton, Catholic Central and many other local high schools.  Meetings are held every Wednesday night from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Room 10.

The group is open to any high school age youth of any denomination.  Aside from regular meetings the Youth Group has various other activities during the year including trips, lock-ins, community service projects, 30 hour famine, Jamboree at the LansingCenter and an annual retreat.  New members are always welcome.

Middle School Youth Group

Jr. Crew

Jr. Crew is open to all Middle School youth in grades 6-8.  The meetings are held one Friday a month from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in Room 10.  Check the church bulletin for dates.  In addition to the monthly meetings, the Jr. Crew participates in community service activities, holiday parties, the Middle School Rally, and other youth events.  New members are always welcome.

 

Little Lights
This group serves our littlest parishioners and their special adult (mom, dad, or caregiver). Meetings for fellowship and play are held each Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. This group meets in Room 10, Thompson Hall, at members’ homes, or off-site for fieldtrips. Please check the bulletin or the parish office for our meeting place.
